This course is taught be NRA Advance Pistol Instructors

This is a very good follow up to basic concealed carry training, you will learn, proper draw stroke from concealment,  to clear stoppages, and how to shoot on the move. You will also learn the proper mindset to have prior to engagment, and how to avoid potential threats.

Equipment requirements: Handgun (centerfire), 2 spare magazines, or 2 speedloaders, Strong-side hip holster, concealment garment (Vest, Jacket, etc) 300-350 rounds of ammo.

NRA Personal Protection In The Home, is the perfect step up, from your NRA Basic Pistol, or CCW class.

NRA Personal Protection Outside the Home Level 1, teaches how to properly conceal, and how to draw your concealed firearm

NRA Personal Protection Outside the Home Level 2, is an all range class of shooting from holster, and advancing the defensive mind skills introduced in Level 1

Dynamic Trauma Care Course $125

    Defensive Shotgun   (Not an NRA Course)

    100 rounds of birdshot, 25 rounds of buckshot, 5 slugs

    Tactical Carbine 1 & 2  (Not an NRA Course)

    300 rounds, should have sling, mim. of 3 magazines, and magazine pouches, Level 2 will need handgun, & a mim. of 100 rounds of pistol amunition

This is a two day all range course, this is not a course for beginners. You must have attended at least level one in the NRA PPOTH course (or something similar) to attend this one.

This course is to take you to a new level in your training, it will include ground fighting, shooting on the move, from contact to extended range, from very precise to extremely rapid.

Course Goal:  To teach students the skills necessary to successfully survive a dynamic encounter with one or multiple assailants.

Course Objectives:

1.       The student will understand the need for a balance between shooting speed and accuracy in a dynamic gunfight environment.

2.       The student will understand how to load and shoot from unorthodox shooting positions.

3.       The student will understand the importance of using cover and concealment in a dynamic   environment.

4.       The student will be able to successfully engage moving targets.

5.       The student will be able to successfully engage targets while moving—i.e. “get off the X”.

6.       The student will be able to properly respond to firearms malfunctions during a dynamic gunfight scenario.

Handgun, 9mm mim. 700 rounds, holster, 3 magazines concealment garment, clothing for the weather 

Enhanced Handgun Skills Course

250 rounds 1 day course, this is a physically demanding course, you will be moving, shooting from prone, Unique to this course every round fired is scored as part of the qualfication.

Enhanced Handgun Skills Course II

200 rounds 1 day course, focus on room entry, and room clearing drills
